Swimming Pool in Sant Sndreu
The project is located on a site with a steep slope. The walls of the swimming pool also serve as retaining walls. One of these surfaces is laminated with white ceramic, the other with black. Another surface, the one that folds and forms a railing around the pool, is made of Banyoles stone.
Between the white and the black wall springs a fountain with a wide stream which renews and circulates the water while also organizing the sound track of the construction. This can be completed, ad libitum, with the percussion of the different stone railings, which curiously, by a strange quality of this non-homogeneous stone has a different timber and tuning in each of the diverse pieces. It can be used as a type of stone age xylophone, adding strange sounds to the fauna of the forest.
